My Personal Journey...

Hi and thanks for coming to view my website!

Believe it or not, I am not your average Personal Trainer! I am not ripped, I'm not skinny and I'm not the strongest woman on the planet. However I know how it feels to struggle to lose weight, to live with an eating disorder and to try almost every stupid diet on this planet. This is one of the reasons I decided to train as a Personal Trainer, along side having to have surgery to remove a 1.2kg mass from my abdominal wall that had died and twisted and started turning septic.

This was the kick up the bum I truly needed. I am a mom to 3 boys which I want to be able to continue to play with them till they no longer want me to. I qualified as a PT 2 days before Covid Lockdown (typical!), and I have only had short breaks whilst having my youngest boys! Once Gyms reopened I lost the weight I wanted and needed to of nearly 5 stone. Ever since then I have had 2 babies and had to restart my journey a few times.

As I have had 3 complicated pregnancies and births my Pre and Post Natal Coaching qualification has also come in handy and helped myself get back as much of my work as I could and also helped other women by teaching Pregnancy Fitness Classes and Baby Wearing Classes.

In January 2023, I found out I was expecting my youngest baby boy. I left my current job due to several reasons but needed a form of income. I reached out to many gyms and only 2 were willing to give a pregnant woman a chance (shocking!), this is where the classes first started, a Baby Wearing Class and A Pregnancy class.

Fast forward to January 2024, 2 amazing owners allowed me to use their gym for classes at TR Fitness Studios, and my Parents let me use their Pub, The New Inn at Bournheath to carry my classes on. We started with 1 of each class per location and little did I know, we would be adding more classes but also adding different types of classes to suit all Mama's. At the end of 2024, we added a new instructor, Sheri who will be based at Redditch!

 

It has been an incredible 1.5 years and I cannot wait to watch Go Mama Go grow even more!
